Refund and Cancellation Policies
Important Information
REFUNDS
There are no refunds for services performed. Therapy is like going to the doctor. Once services are performed, there is no refund. However, if there is a billing error, you will get a refund. If a therapist cancels or reschedules their appointment with you, you will not be charged.

Emergencies happen and our therapists are understanding of that. Please communicate a valid emergency (e.g. medical, family, etc.) at your earliest convenience, so that you are not charged. If the emergency has been communicated after the charge, you will receive a refund. Please discuss further what is a valid emergency with your therapist for further clarification of what constitutes one and what does not.

APPOINTMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS
Please remember to cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if cancellation is less than 24 hours.

The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 50 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your sessions. Requests to change the 50-minute session needs to be discussed with the therapist in order for time to be scheduled in advance.

Cancellations and re-scheduled session will be subject to a full charge if NOT RECEIVED AT LEAST 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. If you are late for a session, you may lose some of that session time.

Our therapists will wait 15 minutes after the scheduled log-in time. If the client is not present and if there is no timely communication with a therapist, the client will be charged with the card that they have on file.
